AP 16 Stealth Finishes 2nd & 
AP 15 PHD Finishes 3rd in 16s Division
AP 12 Kiraly & AP 12 Eagles Both Finish 2nd

AP 16 Stealth and AP 15 PHD met in the semifinals of the Cupid Invitational in San Antonio. AP 16 Stealth advanced to the finals and captured 2nd, losing only to the eventual champion. AP 16 Stealth finished 3-1 on the day and beat the eventual champion during pool play.

AP 12 Kiraly and AP 12 Eagles both played in the pool play only IH-35 League #2 and each team finished 2-1 on the day, capturing 2nd place in their pool. 


5 More AP Teams Qualify for Tour of Texas
7 AP Teams make the Tour!

AP is one of only 5 clubs in the state of Texas to have a team qualified in every age group of the Tour of Texas.

AP 17 Eclectic and AP 18 Apex entered the Tour of Texas on January 22-23 having earned an automatic division I spot based on 2010 results. 5 more AP teams used this weekend's Tour Qualifier to earn berths in to the Tour of Texas, bringing AP's total to 7 teams that will participate in the next two Tour stops.

AP 13 Puma, AP 14 Samurai, AP 15 PHD, AP 16 Black Mamba, and AP 17 Tsunami all will join AP 17 Eclectic and AP 18 Apex as Tour of Texas participants. These 7 AP teams will play in the February 12-13 Dallas stop as well as the Tour finals on the weekend of March 12-13. Congrats ladies!

Five of these seven AP teams also earned the opportunity to begin the Dallas stop in Division I. AP 15 PHD finished a perfect 8-0 in matches and AP 16 Black Mamba finished a perfect 7-0 on the weekend. AP 17 Tsunami also earned the right to join AP 17 Eclectic and AP 18 Apex in division I of the February stop.


2 AP Teams Earn Silver Medals

AP 12 Kiraly finished with a 3-1 record to capture 2nd place at their first tournament of the season. Way to go Kiraly!

AP 15 PHD played in the 3-day MLK tournament and earned the  silver medals with an 8-1 match record and 17-2 games record losing only in the finals in a close 15-13 game 3. Good job PHD!


AP has 7 Top 10 Finishes at Tour Warm-Up
5 AP Teams Finish in Top 5

AP 18 Apex played in the Tour of Texas Power League Warm Up and finished in 2nd overall in the 18s division out of 13 teams. AP 18 Apex finished 4-2 on the weekend, losing twice to the tournament champions. Great job Apex!

AP 14 Samurai finished in 3rd place overall out of 27 teams with a 4-2 match record, losing only to the top 2 finishers. 

AP 17 Eclectic went 4-1 in the 17s division to capture 3rd overall out of the 25 teams while AP 17 Tsunami went 6-1 and captured 5th place in the division. Way to go Eclectic and Tsunami.

AP 13 Puma took home 4th overall out of 17 teams in the 13s division.

AP 15 Gazelle went 6-1 to capture the silver division championship and a 9th place finish out of the 30 teams in the 15s division. AP 15 Gold finished in 15th. 

AP 16 Stealth finished 10th while AP 16 Black Mamba finished 11th out of the 31 teams in the 16s division.

AP 16 Momentum finished strongly, capturing the flight one championship. 


2 More AP Teams Begin Season &
Both Win Tournaments
AP 13 Puma & AP 16 Black Mamba

AP 13 Pumas have an undefeated first weekend and captured the TX Eclipse #1 tournament championship on Saturday. On Sunday, the AP 16 Black Mamba kept it a perfect AP weekend going 8-0 and capturing the gold medals at the Holiday Fun tournament.


3 AP Teams Start Season with Championships
8 AP Teams Finish in the Top 3

AP 14 Samurai, AP 15 PHD and AP 16 Stealth all began their seasons with tournament championships. AP 15 PHD had a perfect 4-0 match record and 11-0 games record as they became the first AP team of the 2010-2011 season to win a championship. Later on that night, sometime near midnight, AP 14 Samurai finished their tournament and took home the gold medal with a 7-1 games record. On Sunday, it was AP 16 Stealth starting off their season with a perfect match record and earning the tournament championship.

AP 15 Gazelle and AP 17 Eclectic both won their pools and earned their way to the finals. Each team took home the silver medal.

AP 14 Mongoose, AP 17 Tsunami and AP 18 Apex all began their seasons by finishing third in their respective tournaments.

AP 13 Puma and AP 16 Black Mamba will both be kicking off their seasons this weekend. Good luck ladies!
