This is Katelen's first year coaching with Austin Performance. She is the 14 Flyer Asst. Coach. She just moved to Austin in August with her fiancee and friends and is teaching Pre-Kindergarten! She couldn't be more excited to be with AP!
Katelen has been playing volleyball for 15 years and has been coaching for 4-5 years. She coached for University of Tampa's summer volleyball camps, Tampa Bay Juniors Volleyball club and has given individual lessons.
She played volleyball for University of Tampa and was part of the 2006 Div II National Championship team! Go Spartans! She was first-team All-American in 2006 and 2007 and her junior year was the 13th player in UT's history to reach 1,000 kills. She was/is an outside hitter.
Katelen is getting married in June and is so happy to be in Austin coaching volleyball and enjoying living life to the fullest! She is looking forward to sharing her passion and knowledge for the game with AP!
