Parents Information

We have booked the players’ hotels for the Far Western Qualifier in Reno.

Please note that we have not yet been accepted into this tournament, so please do NOT book any hotels or airfare that you can not cancel and be refunded for until we have absolute confirmation of acceptance. We should know within the next few weeks and will keep you updated. 

Remember, it is your choice whether you stay at the Atlantis or elsewhere.

With that said, the Atlantis is the ONLY hotel within walking distance of the Reno convention center. It will fill very quickly. It is in your best interest to book your hotel ASAP.  When you do this, it is best to book your rooms with a hotel that allows you to make changes within the next few weeks in the event of a change in your teams’ tournament schedule.

How to Book a Room

The Atlantis hotel has a contracted rate of $129/night for Thursday night plus $169/night for Friday & Saturday nights. To receive this rate, reference the “NCVA Far Western” group rate. We were told the conditions of this group rate were: 1) ability to cancel up to 30 days before arrival, AND 2) 1st night’s room & tax charged at time of booking. Please double check any conditions/terms that are given to you at the time of the booking to understand your own terms and conditions.

It is in your best interest to book NOW and request a LUXURY TOWER room. They have multiple towers available at the same rate referenced above. The luxury tower is definitely the nicest of the possibilities (as told to us by the sales person as well as looking on the Atlantis’ website.) Once the luxury tower block is sold out, they will still have the same rate for other towers.
